Whew.

I just finished putting together all the tiny promo packs that will be stuffed into the Stitch Goodie Bags.
I mailed 'em out this morning and it's really nice to have that out of the way. I'm so busy gearing up for the holiday season.

Hmmm. Bag Lunch was planning on launching 4 new flavors this week, but it's currently delayed. We're having some webby-type issues that need to be fixed. We can't seem to add new products to our online inventory system. Hello, tech support? We have a problem.

Needled.com

I've been reading a tattoo-related site called "Needled" for quite some time now.

A few days ago I sent in an ad-banner that included ink-work in the imagery. The ad was odd, because it was unexpected that it would include any sort of tattoo, due to the product the ad was selling and the supposed target market it appeared to be aimed towards. As Needled.com mentions, tattoos are creeping into all sorts of mainstream outlets. I find this to be a good thing, as theoretically this will help the tattooed community become less of a curiosity in the long run. (While I don't mind people asking questions about my tattoos, quite frankly I'm growing rather tired of complete strangers touching my ink. I would never even consider poking someone's nose-job and I don't see any difference between touching the tattoos of strangers and fondling a person's plastic surgery modifications. Both actions are both equally rude.)

Aaaanyway....

Today, there is a small article regarding tattoos in fashion-related advertisment, including the ad I brought to their attention,
and the fine folks at Needled included a link to baglunchco.com in the article.

Jello® Molds and Pink Flamingos....

I've recently bought a house in the Suburbs. I've started a blog centered around all things suburbia, with the initial focus being an online diary of sorts for all the home renovations I'll be doing in the near future.

Self indulgent? admittedly, yes. But this blog will serve as a way of not having to tell the same home-related rambling stories 73 times to friends and relatives that are sprinkled throughout the country. And it will also keep these stories off the Bag Lunch Blog, so that people who don't give a hoot about my indecision regarding paint swatches and tips on lawn care can still enjoy "The Juice Box" in all it's food-themed glory.

"Freezepop Forever"

Freezepop, a crazy-good Boston band, has been selling special Freezepoppy flavored lip balms, made by yours truly, for quite some time now.

In the past, they have had Blue Raspberry and Orange special edition lip balms for sale at their shows as well as on their website. Bag Lunch just made a new batch for them! The new Freezepop lip balms are Pink Grapefruit and are quite good, if I do say so myself...
